Enrolment Procedures

St Joseph's School aims to support all parents and families who seek a Catholic education for their child and initiate our students into a faith community, which embraces valuing oneself, one’s community and one’s relationship with God.

How do I enrol my child?

Please note: A separate enrolment form needs to be completed for Pre-School and Reception.

Families wishing to join the St Joseph’s School community need to follow the enrolment process:

  • Contact the school office on 8346 6569 or email the school on, or personally visit the school to make an enquiry about enrolment or to express your interest in St Joseph’s School. An application form and prospectus will be sent to you.
  • Return the completed Application Form to the school. Copies of birth certificate and Baptismal certificates (if applicable) must be provided.
  • Alternatively you can download an Enrolment Form.
  • An Administration fee of $20 is payable when lodging your School Enrolment and $20 for a Preschool Enrolment.  If you are lodging both School and Preschool forms at the same time you will only need to pay $35.
  • The school will invite you to an enrolment interview.
  • Parents and the child meet with the Principal. During this meeting you are given information about the school, have your questions answered and have a tour of the school. This also provides an opportunity for the Principal to meet your child.
  • If a position is available, a letter of ‘Offer of Enrolment’ is sent to you.
  • If you wish to accept this enrolment offer, you sign the ‘Acceptance of Offer’ and return it to the school with a non-refundable $150 enrolment deposit to secure your enrolment place.  This deposit will be deducted off your child’s first school fee account.
