Official Volunteer

 

 

Volunteer support contributes immensely to how we enrich the lives of our children.

Our volunteers share their time, energy and expertise in various areas, including coaching and managing sporting teams, assisting in the tuckshop, listening to reading, helping with Breakfast Club and providing supervision on fun excursions.

Volunteer Requirements

The welfare and safety of children and adults in our school community is paramount.

To volunteer with us, you will require a current Catholic Police Check. This meets the stringent requirements set down by state authorities, the Adelaide Catholic Archdioceses and Catholic Education SA.

There is no cost to you in having a Catholic Police Check.

Volunteer Requirements:

  1. Pick up a Volunteer Pack from the Front Office.
  2. Fill in the forms and return them, along with original proof of identity documents.
  3. Once identity has been verified, your forms will be forwarded to the Catholic Police Check Unit.
  4. You will receive a letter of approval, usually within a month of applying. If successful, a clearance card will be included with the letter.
  5. Bring your letter and card to the Front Office for verification. The school will keep a copy on file.
  6. You're now an Official Volunteer.
    Remember, to keep your letter and card in a safe place at home.
