Out of Hours School Care

Our OSHC Service

For current students of St Joseph's School who require care before and after school and during the holidays, the St Joseph Out of School Hours Care and Vacation Care programs are stimulating, fun and aligned to each child's unique needs, interests, abilities and background.
 

Endorsed by the St Joseph's School Board, our program:

  • provides a high-quality care for both preschool and school aged children as set out in the National Quality Framework
  • encourages children to explore the world around them and develop skills and self-esteem through play
  • encourages a healthy active lifestyle
  • builds children's capacity to develop and maintain positive friendships
  • supports families by providing safe supervision and care for parents and carers who work

Care is available Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays):

Before School Care: 7.30 am - 8.30 am

After School Care: 3.10 pm - 6.00 pm

Pupil Free Days: 7.30 am - 6.00 pm

Pupil Half Days: 12.30 pm - 6.00 pm

Vacation Care: 7.30 am - 6.00 pm (during school holidays)

Out of Hours School CareVacation & Holiday Care

Whether the need is permanent or ad-hoc, our Out of School Hours and Vacation Care program is designed to support working parents by providing high quality care beyond the school day.

We provide stimulating, fun activities which take into account the child's individual needs, interests, abilities, age and backgrounds. Our program includes both incursion and excursion activities. Your child will need to bring their own lunch (unless notified). We serve a snack to keep children going until dinner for afternoon care.

Vacation Care operates in the April, July, September/October and December/January school holidays.
