From the principal

Thank you for your interest in St Joseph's School, West Hindmarsh.  I'm proud to be a part of this learning community and look forward to sharing it with you.

St Joseph's has served the local community for over 100 years.

The children and families are at the heart of our Catholic community, together we are committed to continuous improvement and lifelong learning.  We create a quality learning environment that offers a comprehensive curriculum including specialist lessons in music, Italian and physical education.

At St Joseph's we strive to be a welcoming community with a strong emphasis on developing a sense of belonging for both children and their families.  We work closely with our Parish community as we nurture the life and faith of children.  Our school motto, "In Omnibus Caritas" translates as "In All Things Love" and continues to guide us.  We strive to give witness to the charism of the Josephite Sisters, who founded our school.

St Joseph's has an atmosphere of care and trust, an environment where each child is recognised and respected and feelings of positive self-worth are fostered.  We value the contribution that parents make to the education of their children and recognise the vital role of our parent groups in building the ethos and climate of our Catholic school.

Our school is well-equipped with modern facilities and flexible learning spaces.

We understand the sacrifices that parents make towards their children's education, our fees are competitive and structured to allow access for all, offering several payment options to include family and school discounts.

I would welcome the opportunity of discussing the benefits our school has to offer with you and your family.

God bless,

Maria D'Aloia
